Georgia CE - FAQ

Don't I need in-person hours?
The Secretary of State requires half of your total hours to be completed in a live class. However, in 2018 the SOS approved our webinars to count as live hours — so you can complete everything online.
Do I need a camera or microphone for the webinar?
No. Neither is required. Attendance is monitored through polling questions that our instructors ask throughout the course.
What do I do after I attend the class?
Download your Certificate of Completion from certificates.quicked.net and keep a copy for your records. Then renew your license through the Georgia SOS portal.
How do I download Zoom?
Visit zoom.us/download and click "Download" under "Zoom Client for Meetings." Run the installer and you're set. You don't need an account to join a webinar.
What is the deadline for Georgia continuing education?
Georgia contractors must complete their continuing education by June 30th of the renewal year. Don't wait until the last minute - classes fill up fast in May and June.
